Slacker...

So I feel like I have been the WORST blogger lately and I am sorry. I don't have a way of getting my pictures on the computer (since we moved and have not set up our Mac since it's been in the shop) so I feel like posting is so lame! I don't like to post without any pictures!

Update...
Colby and I moved into our new house and we could not be happier! Pictures coming soon! This home fits us perfectly and will be a home that will be full of memories and love! It has been so nice to be able to not live out of boxes (still have a little unpacking to do). I love the fact that we have a guest bedroom for visitors!
Last weekend my family came down to visit and this weekend Cara & Jay came down to visit! It makes life so much fun to have people come and stay and enjoy life together!

I am still working full time and Colby just started another semester of school, along with running his business from home! Our life is always busy! Trevin is getting so big and is getting to be so much fun! Today was his first time in Nusery and I can't even begin to explain how NICE it was to be able to enjoy the last two hours of church! Ahhhh...

Tonight I watched Finding Nemo with Trevin and played with him for about three hours while Colby was studying for a test tomorrow. I knew I had so many other things I could be doing but I loved just seeing my son and being able to spend time with him. I held him for about fifteen minutes after he fell asleep and just thought about how much I love and care for him. I am so grateful to have a son and to be able to be a mother to such an amazing child of God. I am excited to have more children but I think it will be a while before that happens.

AND...
Tomorrow is the start of my exercise routine! After seeing Cara this weekend, I know I need to get my butt in GEAR! My new years resolutions are not working out too well so far! Time to change that! I am serious about it this time my fellow co-workers! :)

BECOME

So I love seeing new and interesting things people do each year as new year's resolutions start. I love reading Ali Edward's blog (under scrapbook links on my blog) and she actually sets aside a word for each year.

I thought this was an awesome idea! Does this spark any of you to choose a word for 2009?

I hope to become...
a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend
more physically fit
closer to the Lord
a better scrapbooker (if that's a word)
more in tune with Trevin's life
a more prepared nurse
less shy
organized
better prepared
and...a happy, fun-loving person

Colby & I have decided that our family word for 2009 is BECOME

My Resolutions

So of course it's a new year and time to set some goals for myself. I have been thinking about this a lot lately and some of them are random (and may not make sense to you) and others are the usual goals that most people set.

1. Get my pre-baby body back
2. Project 365 (See Becky's Blog under my favorite scrapbook blogs to understand)
3. Actually complete the scripture challenge I gave the Park family on Christmas Eve
4. Be a better mom and wife
5. Enjoy the little things in life
6. Attend the temple more often
7. Budget my money better
8. Keep my cars clean
9. Organize and accumulate more food storage, gather 72 Hour kits, and water
10. Make new friends

I have set a board in my new bathroom with plans on how to complete these goals every month and I hope it will help me achieve them! I have planned workout times, scrapbook times, date nights, and set aside money to help pay for emergency preparedness (within the budget each month). I hope I can grow spiritually, physically, and mentally this year!
