Our Life...

This is what sunny St. George looks like right now. Its hot, its humid, and its beautiful! The last two days have been extremely hot and I am not sure if I am going to be able to cope with the weather down here.
I took Trevin to take some pictures at one of my favorite locations. My hopes of getting some awesome pictures were crushed when he would not hold still for two seconds. I mean seriously, can you not train a two year old to sit in one spot for a few seconds? Is it that much to ask? I have come to the realization that this is my son, he is crazy, he is adventurous, and he likes to run! He needs to explore the world just like I have and play like a little kid.
This is the only good shot of his face I got. I was upset while I was trying to take these pictures (not to mention it was 110 degrees outside, really, at 7:30p.m.) and then I realized that I need to capture him being himself. His cute little faces and all...

I love my son to pieces and I can't believe he will turn two next Monday! Big plans for a huge Mickey Mouse party are in order! Now I need to go shopping and figure out what to get this little man...

Father's Day Tournament

On Father's Day, Colby and his brothers got together and played a game of crochet. I decided to post my favorite picture first. This handsome young man is my brother-in-law Jordan. He asked for it when he kept turning away from the camera. Maybe he will learn to just let me take some pictures. Isn't he an awesome poser?
Riley really liked this shot...

This next picture is of my handsome husband and AWESOME father to my son! He sure does a lot to help me out with Trevin. I am very blessed to have such a great husband and father!
This next picture was not one of my favorite due to the lighting but I thought I would post it anyway. Trevin loves hanging out with the boys.
Most of the boys in the tournament...

I am not exactly sure what happened in this next picture but the faces are priceless...
Colby and his brothers always have so much fun together. I might add that "no girls" were allowed to play or else I might have won. Just kidding! Maybe the girls can have a little tournament of their own next time!

Jumping Jacks

Today we went and spent the day with the Nielsen Family. We went to Jumping Jacks and then out to Texas Roadhouse to eat. We love our Dixie Direct Card. It saved us some money and we had lots of fun as a family!

He loved to wrestle this mushroom! He would tackle it like it was a player on the opposing team of a football game. (Not to mention he got tackled by a kid about fifteen years older than him)
Sometimes the blow up steps got the best of him! LOL! He never cried once! Only when he saw other big kids coming....

Trevin loved going down the slide. He even got to the point where he would go down the slide by himself! The kid has no fear!
Trevin has been a little spoiled this week with a movie on Thursday, Shopping last night, and to Jumping Jacks tonight! It has been such a fun week to spend together! It only cost us SEVEN dollars to spend at Jumping Jacks and Trevin didn't want to leave. We will have to go there again sometime...when the big kids aren't around!

Trevin's First Movie

Tonight we took Trevin to see Up. It was the first time we had ever taken him to watch a movie and I was a little nervous about how he would do. I brought everything I could think of to entertain him just in case he didn't cooperate. No cooperation needed considering the fact that we were the ONLY ones in the theatre! I could not believe it! Trevin did so well. Just about twenty minutes before the movie was over he wanted to jump over the chairs but after about five minutes he decided to come back and sit on my lap.
It was so much fun to just sit in the movie with just the three of us and be able to talk to Trevin when he would get excited about certain parts of the movie like the "balloons!"

We came back home and made homemade malts! It was a fun little family night! I needed a break after the last three nights of work!

P.S. Trevin went Pee Pee on his little toilet for the first time today and I cut his hair. Not something I will probably attempt again but his hair was poking into his eyes when I got him in the tub. I could not wait another week to have Chelsea cut it. That doesn't mean she won't have to fix it! LOL I know it looks terrible and I cut his bangs a little short! Oops!

Camping with the Fam

Oh Great, my mom is going to be thrilled this happens to be the first picture on the blog. LOL! Sorry mom! I am too busy to fix it! Anyway, we went camping this week with my family up to Palisades. We had a blast! It was a hard time trying to keep Trevin out of the water and to keep him entertained in one spot for more than five minutes.
Landon and Colby setting up our AWESOME tent that we have not used for a long time! I was so excited to go camping. Colby and I have tons of camping equipment. When we lived in Cedar City we would go camping all the time (that was before we had Trevin).
Thank Goodness for this lawn mower! It entertained Trevin for hours everyday. Keep in mind we would have to follow him all around the campground sites because he loved to run EVERYWHERE!
Hilary took these pictures! Didn't she do an awesome job? I kinda think my son is the cutest, handsomest, studliest son ever!
Trevin and Me throwing rocks into the water! His favorite thing!
We had a few temper tantrums...
And then came the duck...
this duck would come to our campsite every morning when we were eating breakfast. Trevin loved to see the duck and follow him around with his lawn mower of course!
Sometimes he would get a little too close...
Grandpa Hitchcock and Trevin getting ready for a ride in the Canoe.
Trevin's first ride with a cookie in hand. He loved the boat and the water! He did so good to just sit on my lap and behave. I think that was the calmest he was the entire trip!
Colby, Hilary, and Me went out the next day and went fishing. To make a long story short, we have been camping with my family every year for about three years. Each year Colby is determined to catch a fish. The last two years, No luck. But, this year we had Kevin Ockeys Canoe. This little Canoe was a good luck charm (along with Hilary). Colby caught a fish! LOL! Hilary and I were laughing our heads off when we caught it. It was a moment in history for the Hitchcock Family. Poor Landon is usually with Colby when he is fishing and Landon gets so board because Colby never catches anything. Landon was not there to witness the event!
Then Hilary caught a fish as well!
I tried, I had one, he got away, poor me!
Colby and Landon decided to try fishing again! No Luck!
Hilary and I took Trevin over to the little park and we played for a while. Trevin loved to play on the swing and the slide!

I will leave you with this picture....Landon and Colby, again, no fish on board! Thanks mom and dad for having us! We had so much fun!
