The Best of Friends

Today was not just an ordinary day for Trevin. His little girl friend (notice that's two words) got a Princess Jeep for her 3rd birthday today. She was so excited to come pick up Trevin and give him a ride! It was the cutest thing ever!

She was a pretty good driver and Trevin sure loved sitting back and enjoying the ride. These two spent probably 30 minutes just crusin' around our neighborhood and trying not to damage too much property. It was a beautiful day!

The rest of our day involved Colby playing chef and me relaxing most of the day. He got up early and made Cowboy breakfast before church and later we enjoyed my Grandma's famous Roast Beef Sandwiches (which took a lot longer to prepare than I thought they would) for dinner. After dinner he wanted homemade Oreo Cookies. All three of these things Colby has been dying to make the last few weeks and so today we made them. It was a yummy day at our house!

Tonight, Trevin didn't have such a pleasant experience. He is doing AMAZING at going pee pee on the potty, but going number two is another story. He stayed dry all through church and was doing SO WELL. Tonight we could tell he needed to go number two. To make a long story short and to spare you the details, that involved us putting him in the bathroom alone and listening to him cry in pain because "It was too big, Mommy!" He finally went, on the floor, and felt much better. Of course I had to be happy for him, but he was pretty upset at himself for going on the floor. I think he is scared of the "Stuff."

Any tips on going Number Two? I would love any suggestions you may have. We have the pee pee down great and I am so proud of him! Tomorrow is a new day...

I bought this bedding from Babys R Us about three years ago and I have really liked it. I just wanted something different for my new baby and that's the only reason why I got new bedding. There is nothing wrong with this bedding! Some people may think I am crazy, but I just like to redecorate and really wanted something different for the new baby.

Please leave a comment or e-mail me if you are ineterested! Thanks!

It's Time...

Ok, enough procrastination already! My baby's room is simply our storage room in our house right now. I am starting to feel the need to "Nest" before my next little one arrives. I have been so busy with work, editing photos, and trying to find time to relax that my house has become a mess, again! Does it EVER end?

My To Do List this Weekend:
1. Clean both bathrooms
2. Finish the laundry
3. Clean out Trevin's closet and organize his clothes
4. Completely clean out the baby's room
5. Paint the cedar chest and new frames
6. De-junk all drawers and closets
7. Throw away anything in the storage unit we don't need
8. Watch Trevin so Colby can finish making his bed
9. Clean out the fridge
10. Oh ya, Do all this while trying to potty train a two year old!

P.S. My pregnancy continues to go smoothly. I am no longer contracting like I was a few weeks ago and I feel much, much better in that department. My feet are starting to swell like crazy along with my face. I am so uncomfortable when I sleep, I can't see my toes anymore (Tana I need a Pedicure), and my clothes officially DO NOT FIT! Only four more weeks until I can be induced...Five more weeks until I am FOR SURE DONE! I can't wait for this little guy to get here, but I am nervous all at the same time! Ah, what am I going to do with two children?

Nice Bum

We've been trying to potty train Trevin. Oh, what a job that is! He has been doing a much better job than what I had imagined he would, but it's still a project.
Potty-4
He has the cutest little underware my mom bought him. He loves them! His favorite ones are Handy Manny. Who would've guessed! He has also figured out how to open the fridge/freezer and get whatever he wants. It drives Colby and me crazy!
I wanted to take his picture and this is all I got...

Before he took off...

I can't believe he is big enough to start going potty on his own. I would be thrilled if he would get potty trained BEFORE his little brother arrived, but I am not so sure that's going to happen. We're working on it though!

The Faces of my Boy

I finally got to capture some of Trevin's many expressions! There are many more faces I wasn't able to capture. I just love how expressive Trevin is. He is such a cute little boy!

His pretend scared face (chattering of the teeth)...
Faces-6
I am not sure what to call this next face...
Faces-2
I love it when he does this next face with his eyebrow...
Faces-3
Its a smile while eating cereal...
Faces-5
And this next picture I see a lot of. Sometimes I don't see his face. He takes after his dad and LOVES to drink the milk from his cereal bowl when he is finished...
Faces-7

Today Trevin went back to daycare. We found a cute girl that's my age who runs a daycare just down the street from us. Colby takes him there so I can sleep and Colby gets to work on his business things as well as Real Estate things. He has a long day of showing houses tomorrow. He works so hard. Wish him luck!

It Came...

This day finally came...
Celebrate
I have been wanting a new camera for about six months now and I have tried time after time to convince myself that I could afford it. I have worked extra shifts at the hospital, scheduled extra photo sessions, and saved a lot of money to be able to finally feel like I could buy a new camera. I decided to sell my old camera and buy a new one. Today, it came!

Thanks to all of you who have supported me and have helped me achieve a dream I have had for SO LONG! Thanks for trusting me with your memories! I never really thought my little photography business would grow this fast, but if you could see the smile on my face, you would understand how happy it makes me!

P.S. Please disregard the PJ's...They are just so much more comfortable at 32 weeks than jeans. I did look nice earlier when I went out to dinner with my two favorite hunks! We celebrated Colby's birthday tonight since we couldn't go out yesterday!

Smith's Mega Sale Event

It's been a while since I have posted about my coupon adventures so I thought I would share my savings today. I just got back from Smith's and for those of you who use coupons, I am sure you have heard about their Mega Sale they have been having. Last week I clipped all my coupons and didn't end up having time to go. I gathered everything together last night and decided to make a trip to the store after work.

Sorry I don't have a picture (I will explain why later) but this is what I bought:
4 Boxes Quaker Granola Bars
1 Kraft Easy Mac
5 Solo Plastic cup packages
3 Boxes of Muffin Mix (Trevin loves to make Muffins)
4 Boxes Capri Suns (I LOVE Capri Suns)
2 Tide Liquid Detergent
2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 Packages Kraft Shredded Cheese
1 Package of Butter Sticks
1 Tub of Butter Spread
2 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
2 Digorno Ultimate Pizzas
2 Tropicana Orange Juice
2 Toaster Strudels
2 Frozen Tyson Breaded Chicken Nuggets
1 Dreyers Ice Cream
4 Packages Armour Meatballs
1 Box New York Texas Toast
4 Packages of Goldfish Crackers
1 Box Ritz Crackers
1 Package Keebler Fudge Striped Cookies
2 Arrowhead 24 Pk Bottled water
3 Bags Quaker Rice Cakes

Original Amount: $183.45
I Paid: $86.58
Total Savings: $96.87

Plus I also got a $2.00 Catalina to use on my next purchase and a 15 cent fuel reward!

P.S. The reason I don't have a picture is because apparently when you go to Smith's in the morning they make you do the self checkout! After I loaded all my items, scanned my coupons, loaded all my items back in my car, and drove home my ice cream was starting to melt and my frozen foods needed to get in the freezer. I was so mad I had to use the self checkout! I am not sure I will be going to Smith's early in the morning anymore!

Now, I am not even tired! I think I will just stick it out and take a nap later in the day. I have SO much to do with so little time on my hands.
